After being without internet for so long I decided that it was time for a new post. This is going to be the animated DVD menu for my demo reel. Now I just have to figure out how to get the animated buttons from After Effects into Encore to make it functional.

In this exercise I tracked a 3D character that I animated into a piece of rather shaky hand-held footage. The track was done with Boujou. The character was animated and rendered in Maya and then everything was composited in After Effects.

The footage belongs to Anthony Denha and the character/rig is the property of Dale Meyers.

I designed this band logo from the ground up. Being an animator I couldn’t just leave it at that. So I threw some sand at it and made a bumper.
